Coach's Comments: Macy is an explosive hitter who hits a heavy ball on her attack, has the ability to read defenses, and hit a variety of sets with her experience hitting from various positions. She is a well-rounded athlete who has the ability to play multiple positions and play them well plus the ability to play in the back row. This, combined with her high energy on the court provides the team with a valuable weapon.

Before Cowley: Shreffler prepped at Douglas County High School where she played four seasons of volleyball. During her junior season, she was awarded the most improved award. She also enhanced her skills for the next level with the Coalition Volleyball Club, while playing outside and opposite hitter for the program.

Lady Tiger volleyball team eager to continue success

Entering the program’s 44th season for the Cowley College volleyball program, high expectations are in store for the program. The team is coming off of a 2019 season that saw them finish with a record of 31-6 overall and a 7-3 record in the Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division. The team also stayed in the top 10 in the NJCAA national rankings most of the season and rose as high as number four in the national rankings for a pair of weeks.
