Bio
Coach's Comment: Maddy developed into one of the top right sides in the KJCCC in her freshnmen year. Her powerful attack and excellent blocking skills are a great asset to the program and a force in our offensive system.
2020 (Freshmen): Played in 87 sets...recorded 210 kills at 2.41 kills per set, a .271 hitting percentage, and 43 blocks. Was named KJCCC All-Conference Honorable mention and All-District Second Team in the NJCAA.
Before Cowley: Prepped at Goddard High School where she played four seasons of volleyball. She helped lead her team to two final four state tournament appearances. In her career, she was awarded Kansas All-State Honorable Mention, Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League's (AVCTL II) Honorable Mention, and was named Goddard's season MVP four times. Pitts also participated in club volleyball for Volleyball One to enhance her training beyond her high school training.

News mentions
Having showcased her talents each of the past two seasons as a member of the nationally ranked Cowley College volleyball team, sophomore Maddy Pitts has parlayed that success into signing a letter of intent with Emporia State University on Tuesday.
Playing its final regular season home matches of the season, the No. 1-ranked Cowley College volleyball team defeated Northeastern Oklahoma A&M 25-20, 25-14, 25-14 before knocking off the Ottawa University JV 25-15, 25-14, 25-22 Friday night inside W.S. Scott Auditorium.
Entering the program’s 45th season, high expectations are in store for the Cowley College volleyball program. The team is coming off of a 2020 campaign that that saw them finish 16-11 in the shortened Covid-19 season. Now, Cowley head coach Steven Gream will enter his sixth season, leading his Lady Tigers as they work to continue the success of the program.
