The Tigers opened with a 28-6 win over host Barton and followed that up with a 36-12 victory over No. 17-ranked Labette.
In only its third year of existence, the Cowley College wrestling team achieved a top-15 national ranking and captured the Jayhawk Conference title by going unbeaten at the Jayhawk Duals. The Tigers will look to build off of its strong 2019-2020 campaign as they enter into an unknown 2021 season.
Led by Ottis Peeler going 4-0 and placing first in the 184-pound weight class, the No. 17-ranked Cowley College wrestling team placed second out of 10 teams at the NJCAA West Central District Championship held Saturday in Miami, OK.
In only its third year of existence, the No. 17-ranked Cowley College wrestling team captured the Jayhawk Conference title by going 4-0 at the Jayhawk Duals held Sunday and Monday in Colby, KS.
