Michael Hesseltine is a Sophomore thrower for Cowley College Track & Field, bringing strong potential to the Tigers program. A graduate of Ponca City High School (OK), where he signed his letter of intent in 2024, Hesseltine quickly established himself as a versatile competitor in the throws. His standout performance came at the Region VI Indoor Championships, where he placed 4th in the weight throw with a personal best of 15.66m, showing promise as one of Cowley’s top young throwers.

Tiger track and field teams place in the top-20 at national championships

With Cowley College sophomore Esteban Boisseau capping an incredible sophomore campaign with an individual national title in the men’s 3,000-meter steeplechase, and Lady Tiger freshmen pole vaulters Ke’Mauria Burnham and Aaliyah Treat garnering All-American honors, the Cowley men’s and women’s outdoor track and field teams battled the wind and heat to place in the top 20 of the NJCAA Division 1 Outdoor Track and Field Championships held Thursday through Saturday in Hobbs, New Mexico.
