Coach’s Comments: "Lanee brings to our program exceptional serve receive skills to consistently deliver accurate passes to our setter. She has great ball control and the ability to get in the line of the serve to provide that great pass. On the defensive end, she is a very active and intelligent player who has explosive quickness and the ability to read opposing hitters to cover a large amount of the court. She has a ‘winning mentality’ that is shown on the court with her relentless pursuit of every ball, competitive mindset and strong work ethic. She has played at a high level and has played on championship teams. We look for her to bring that experience to our program."
 
2026 (Freshman): First season at Cowley.
 
Before Cowley: Prepped at Victory Christian School, where she played four seasons of volleyball. In her senior season, she led her team to the Oklahoma 4A State Championship and a 32-4 record. For her efforts, she was named 4A OKlahoma All-State, Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year, and served as team captain. She finished her high school career as the #12 overall player in Oklahoma in her class and #2 in her class at the DS/Libero position, according to PrepDig. Heflin was also selected to the Oklahoma All-State match to be played in late July. In her junior season, she served as team captain and led her team to the Oklahoma 4A State Semi-Finals and a 28-3 record. In her sophomore season, she led her team to the Oklahoma 4A State Semi-Finals and a 20-11 record. In her freshman season, she led her team to the Oklahoma 4A state Quarterfinals and a 24-12 record. Heflin also competed for the volleyball club Oklahoma Peak to enhance her volleyball skills in preparation for college play. In her junior season, she led her team to the U17 USA Volleyball National Championship. This season, she has led her Oklahoma Peak team to an U18 USA Volleyball Open National Tournament bid. In academics, she was a member of the National Honor Society each of her four years and she was also named to the Principal Honor Roll all four years.
