Coach’s Comments:  "Izzy is a strong and intelligent DS/Libero with much experience and exceptional ball control. She brings to Cowley her great coachability, high volleyball IQ, a competitive drive and passion for the game, great reading skills, strong serve receive skills, and aggressive play on defense. Izzy comes to us with a lot of experience, from a quality program, and is very familiar with our program after playing against us last year with her NEO team. We look for her to really enhance our serve, receive, and back row defense to allow us to run our high-powered offense and get quality stops."
 
2025 (Freshman): Played in 108 sets... 603 digs at 5.20 digs per set, a passing percentage of .964, and 34 aces. Her 603 digs ranked her 23rd in the NJCAA DII and her 5.20 digs per set ranked her 31st in the NJCAA. She recorded 20 or more digs in a match 12 times and also posted a career high of 31 digs against Labette College. Named First Team All-Region and selected to the All-Tournament team.
 
Before Cowley: Prepped at Little Elm High School where she played four seasons of varsity volleyball. In her senior season, she totaled 398 digs at 4.80 digs per set and totaled 29 aces. For her efforts, she received 6A Second Team All-District honors, was named Defensive Player of the Year, and was named Co-Captain. During her high school career, she surpassed 500 digs and totaled 54 aces. In club volleyball, she competed with Victory Volleyball Club, Skyline, and Frisco Flyers before spending the last three years with UEPA (Untouchables Elite Performance Academy), where she was named MVP and Defender of the Year. Bueno qualified and played in the Girls Junior National Championships in 2019, 2022, and 2023.

She transferred to Cowley from NJCAA DII Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Community College (NEO) after serving as a libero for the program. The program was ranked in the top 25 for the entire season and reached as high as 18th. NEO also reached the Plains B semi-finals before falling to Johnson County and finished the season with a 24-9 record and a NJCAA Region 2 title. While at NEO, she totaled 603 digs at 5.20 digs per set, a passing percentage of .964, and 34 aces. She also recorded 20 or more digs in a match 12 times and also posted a career high of 31 digs against Labette College during the season. For her efforts during the season, she was named First Team All-Region and selected to the All-Tournament team.
