"Addison was recommended to us by a former player of mine from my Union University days. She comes to us from two strong volleyball programs (club and high school) where she has learned solid setting technique, court awareness, and discipline," Cowley head coach Steven Gream states. "She is an exceptional setter who has great ball control, athleticism, quickness, consistency, and aggressiveness that we look for to run our offensive system. She already sets a fast tempo and is not shy to attack herself. We look for her to adjust well as she transitions to the college game."
Nenninger also participated in club volleyball for the Blue Steel volleyball club, where she continued her training beyond her high school seasons and for college volleyball preparation. In 2024 and 2025, she led her Blue Steel Volleyball team to the USA Volleyball national tournament.
Nenninger is the daughter of Scott and Lea Nenninger of Breese, Illinois.
