Athletes learn team concepts at volleyball camps

Seventeen individuals took part in the middle school camp, while 32 athletes turned out for the high school portion of the camp.
The emphasis of the camps was to teach and develop the fundamental techniques and team concepts of volleyball.
In her first two seasons as head coach of the Lady Tiger volleyball team, Bahner has helped Cowley capture back-to-back Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division titles and place in the top-three at the national tournament. Cowley finished this past season with a record of 34-4.
Bahner was assisted at the camp by assistant coach Riann Mullis, as well as Lady Tiger volleyball players Emily Barto, Molley Scanlon, Kassidy Dykes, Shanna Seyfarth, Sabetha Young, Bridget Paulk, Taylor Kean, and manager Megan Mengelkoch.
Those in the middle school camp were: Riley Gatton, Hope Trent, Hannah McNulty, Ivy Sparlin, Lexi Womack, Macy Jones, Tia Breckenridge, Jillian Belden, Cheyenne Mays, Kelsey Hoffman, Sydney Gregor, Kaitlyn Potter, Natalie Howarter, Fhai Buathong, Abigail Martin, Mckenna Dempsey, and Skyler Banta.
High school campers were: Katy Rhodd, Kristina Topinks, Rebekah Fitch, Rachel Simon, Morgan Adams, Faith Gaddie, Ashley Dehoff, Haili Rae, Devon Allen, Haylea Hessman, Jaci Peetoom, Ashlie Gramke, Devan Diediker, Sarah Williams, Lauren Hug, Alia Khalidi, Janel Balmer, Courtney Kuntz, Kayla Powell, Lanaia Lorett, Morgan Grigsby, McKynzie Wyatt, Taylor Ochs, Haley McKee, Brie Shephard, Linda Coots, Bailey Santo, Tyann Isaacs, Jaclyn Neal, Jessica McDougald, Katelynn Slade, and London Clapp.
