Trio of Tiger wrestlers sign with inaugural NCAA DII program
After strong 2025-26 wrestling seasons, Cowley College sophomores Evan Rodriguez, AB Stokes, and Cam Kiser will take their talents down the road to compete at NCAA Division II Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK.
The trio helped the Tiger wrestling program capture conference and district titles and achieve its highest-ever national finish, placing seventh at the 2026 NJCAA Division 1 Men's Wrestling Championships. They will now prepare to compete for head coach Terry Pack and the inaugural wrestling season for the Riverhawks.
Pack owns a 128-22 career record as a men's college head coach and a combined 145-23 record coaching both men and women over eight seasons at the NJCAA level.
"Coach Pack has had a lot of success at the JUCO level and is a guy you can trust," Cowley head coach Justice Circle said. "I am excited that these guys will continue to wrestle together."
Rodriguez is a two-time All-American and was the NJCAA Division 1 national runner-up at 141 pounds during the 20205-26 season. Rodriguez also competed at the U.S. Open Championships at The Expo at World Market Center in Las Vegas, NV.
Kiser won a pair of matches at the national championships as a freshman at Cowley and followed that up with a successful sophomore campaign. While AB Stokes transferred to Cowley from Fort Hays State University, where he tied for the team lead with 16 wins as a freshman. Stokes got off to a good start to his lone season at Cowley before suffering a season-ending injury.
