No. 10-ranked Tigers pick up a 36-12 dual win at NOC-Tonkawa
Winning eight of 10 matches at Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa on Sunday, the No. 10-ranked Cowley College wrestling team continued its winning ways with a 36-12 victory over the Mavericks.
Coming off its seventh-place finish at the NJCAA Coaches Dual, the Tigers followed that up by going 3-0 in duals on the week.
"We have a lot of momentum right now, and it's a good time to be a Cowley wrestling fan," Cowley head coach Justice Circle said. "Our guys are having fun and wrestling at a high level with a lot of intensity."
Cowley got pins from Jaxon Trotter and Davis Sample at 174 and 184 pounds, while getting tech fall victories from Evan Rodriguez (141 pounds) and Greyson Zellers (157 pounds).
