Cowley Tiger wrestling camp to take place on July 1
Led by Cowley College head wrestling coach Justice Circle and other celebrated wrestlers, the Cowley Tiger Wrestling Camp will be held on Monday, July 1, at the Linda Adams Hargrove Athletic Center located at 617 West Washington in Arkansas City.
Led by Cowley College head wrestling coach Justice Circle and other celebrated wrestlers, the Cowley Tiger Wrestling Camp will be held on Monday, July 1, at the Linda Adams Hargrove Athletic Center located at 617 West Washington in Arkansas City.
Coach Circle enters his second season as the head coach of the Tiger wrestling program. He will be joined at the camp by NJCAA All-American and two-time Alabama state champion Melton Powe, NCAA qualifier and Southland Conference champion Isaiah Powe from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and Tyler Shinn, a two-time Big 12 runner-up and NCAA Division I qualifier at Oklahoma State University.
Session one of the camp for novice to fifth grade will take place from 9-11 a.m., while session two for sixth through 12th grade will be held from noon to 3 p.m. The cost is $40, and registration will be conducted at the camp.
