Cowley College forward Anna Przyszlak parlayed a solid sophomore season into signing with NCAA Division I La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA.
After averaging 8.3 points and 5.9 rebounds as a freshman, Przyszlak broke out during the 2023-24 season by averaging 14.8 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. She recorded 15 double-doubles and scored a career-high 30 points in a win at Independence.
She will join a La Salle program that plays in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
"I am excited for Anna and believe La Salle will be a good fit for her," Cowley head coach Todd Clark said. "La Salle plays in a good league and fits her style of play. I look forward to watching her progress."
Przyszlak, who grew up in Poland, is glad she decided to start her college career at Cowley.
"My experience at Cowley was an amazing ride full of lots of ups and downs, but with more highs than lows this last season," Przyszlak said. "I am really happy with where the team and I ended up. If I could go back, I would choose Cowley again and again. It was a great and amazing opportunity for me to start my career in the U.S., and I'm excited to see what my next two years in La Salle will bring me."
Przyszlak chose La Salle because the basketball team, staff, atmosphere, campus, and city checked all the boxes for her.
"My main goal playing basketball was always to compete to the best of my ability and see where it takes me, so even though playing Division I basketball was never my exact dream, if it is somewhere where I can continue to play at my best, I'm all in," Przyszlak said.
