Leading by as many as 38 points in its game against Colby Community College Saturday inside W.S. Scott Auditorium, the Cowley College women’s basketball team rolled to a 91-70 victory.
The No. 13-ranked Dodge City women’s basketball team showed why they have not lost since November in a 108-74 home win over Cowley College on Saturday. The victory was the conference-leading Conquistadors’ 10th straight win.
The Cowley College women’s basketball team got off to a promising start in its conference-opening game at Coffeyville Community College on Wednesday as they led 22-21 after one-quarter of play. Unfortunately, Coffeyville would score 30 points in both the second and third quarters as they took command in the 94-67 victory.
