Large turnout for Youth Softball Camp at Cowley College
Getting instruction from long-time Cowley College softball coach Jenny Hoyt, as well as assistant coach Kaylen Artherton and players from the Lady Tiger softball team, a total of 65 individuals took part in the Cowley College Softball Camp recently held at the Ed Hargrove Softball Field in Arkansas City, KS.

The camp, for those aged 5-12, focused on teaching fundamentals to help players become better offensively. Included in the session were hitting and bunting. A base-running segment was conducted to demonstrate correct base-running techniques.
The camp also focused on teaching fundamentals to help players become better defensively. There were drills to improve infielders and outfielders, proper throwing mechanics, and fielding ground balls and fly balls correctly.
