Area softball players attend Lady Tiger Softball Camp
Coaches and players of the Cowley College softball team conducted a softball camp for first through eighth-grade students on Saturday, August 23, at the Ed Hargrove Softball Field.

Lady Tiger head coach Jenny Hoyt and assistant coach Kaylen Artherton led the camp. Returning players from the Cowley Tiger softball team were also on hand to provide individual instruction.
"I enjoyed watching our players give back to the youth players," Hoyt said. "They had a chance to give one-on-one training with each camper, and it was good to watch them show technique."
The offensive session taught fundamentals to help players become better offensively. Included in the session were hitting, bunting, and slapping drills. The defensive session focused on teaching fundamentals to help players improve defensively. There were also many great drills to improve the infielders and outfielders.
