Boisseau named Men’s Cross Country National Scholar Athlete of the Year
Already named the NJCAA DII Men’s Cross Country National Athlete of the Year, Cowley College standout Esteban Boisseau added to his incredible sophomore campaign by recently being named the NJCAA DII Men’s Cross Country National Scholar Athlete of the Year.

Boisseau maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.67 during a season in which he won the individual title at the NJCAA DII Cross Country Championships in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The Cowley College star crossed the finish line in 26:15.8, more than 12 seconds faster than the runner-up.
"To be a national champion runner and the National Scholar Athlete of the Year, you have to do all the little things and be extremely disciplined," Cowley head coach Cameron Rieth said. "His discipline as a runner and in the classroom goes hand-in-hand. We are happy for Esteban."
