Kaden Berry named Jayhawk Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Finishing as the highest NJCAA competitor while placing second in the pole vault at the Wichita State University Coach Wilson Invitational, Cowley College freshman Kaden Berry was recently named the Jayhawk Conference Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
Berry's mark of 15-10 ½ was the fifth best in Cowley history and ranks No. 5 in the NJCAA this season.
Tying a school record and setting another across two events last week, Cloud County's Alpha Mpofu was named the Jayhawk Conference Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week. Mpofu tied the Cloud County 200-meter record with a time of 21.30 before going on to break the T-Bird record in the 400 meters with a time of 46.65.
