Bio
Current School record holder in the men’s triple jump, 110-meter hurdles, and 60-meter hurdles. He placed fourth in the NJCAA Division I Track and Field Outdoor Championship. In the off-season, Andres Dougan placed first in the 110-meter hurdles at the Team League Finals and finished first in the U20 Spanish Championship. He will be chasing the indoor 60-meter hurdle record and looks to break his current records. He will also help in the 4x100-meter in the outdoor season.

With the Region/Conference Championships approaching in two weeks, the No. 9-ranked Cowley College men’s and women’s track and field teams had athletes competing this past weekend at the Coyote Distance Carnival at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, the John Jacobs Invitational held at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK, and at the Cloud County Thunderbird Classic in Concordia.
With more than 900 athletes competing at the Friends University Spring Invitational held Thursday through Saturday, the Cowley College track and field teams had some solid performances.
Honoring the legacy of Hall of Fame track and field coach Mark A. Phillips, Cowley College hosted 10 teams at the Mark A. Phillips Invite Saturday in Arkansas City at the Mark A. Phillips Track and Field Complex.
Competing at the Region VI/Jayhawk Conference Indoor Championships Saturday and Sunday in Pittsburg, KS, the Cowley College men and women’s track and field teams both placed second in the conference.
With the region and conference meet only two weeks away, the Cowley College men and women’s indoor track and field teams continues to make steady improvement as evidenced by the squads’ performances Friday and Saturday at the Washburn University Open held in Topeka.
There was no need for Cowley College sophomore Diego Andres-Dougan to bust the rust while competing Saturday at the Washburn University Rust Buster as Andres-Dougan appeared to be in mid-season form while breaking his school record in the 60-meter hurdles.
The Cowley College men’s and women’s track and field teams opened the indoor season by taking a limited number of athletes to compete at the University of Nebraska Graduate Classic held Friday and Saturday in Lincoln, NE.
