Andres-Dougan breaks school-record in 110-meter hurdles

Cowley College sophomore Diego Andres-Dougan highlighted the list of Tiger athletes competing this past weekend at the Wichita State University KT Woodman Classic. Andres-Dougan placed seventh in the 110-meter hurdles with a school-record time of 14.52. Andres-Dougan previously shared the school-record time of 14.57 with Bryan Jasmin.

The Cowley College men and women's track and field teams each had an individual national champion at the NJCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships held Friday and Saturday in Pittsburg, KS. The Lady Tigers went on to finish 14th nationally, while the Tiger men placed 18th.

The Cowley College men and women’s track and field teams took a limited number of athletes to compete at the Herm Wilson Invite held Friday and Saturday inside Wichita State University’s Heskett Center. Among the notable performances were Lady Tiger sophomore Kayla McClellan winning the weight throw and men’s sophomore Diego Andres-Dougan placing first in the triple jump and winning his heat in the 60-meter hurdles.
