In a matchup of top-10-ranked teams Thursday in Arkansas City, the No. 2-ranked Cowley College men’s tennis team defeated No. 7-ranked Barton County 9-0, while the No. 4-ranked Lady Tiger tennis team suffered a tough, 5-4 loss to the No. 5-ranked Cougars.
The Cowley College men and women’s tennis teams showed why they are ranked in the top-five of the NJCAA Division I national polls as they recently picked up wins over a pair of NCAA Division II schools.
Returning six sophomores to go along with a talented recruiting class, the Cowley College men’s tennis team enters the 2021 season ranked second in the NJCAA Division I behind only top-ranked Tyler Junior College.
