Tiger men's tennis team blasts Bethel 9-0

The No. 8-ranked Cowley College men's tennis team used 11 players in a 9-0 win at Bethel College Monday in Newton.
After facing a pair of NCAA Division II schools to open the season, the Tigers were ready to face the NAIA level Threshers. Cowley did not drop a set while sweeping all six singles matches and three doubles matches.
"A lot of Tigers got to play today," Andrews said. "We played great and took care of business."
Cowley will now play its first home match of the season when they host Missouri Baptist University Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Arkansas City High School tennis courts.
