Renan Syrio named KJCCC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week
Leading their teams to victories last week, Cowley College sophomore forward Renan Syrio and Dodge City goalkeeper Rensho Ishikawa were recently named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week and Goalkeeper of the Week.
Syrio netted the first two goals of the game for No. 4-ranked Cowley College, as the Tigers cruised to an 8-0 win over Trinidad State College. This season, Cowley has won both of their matches played by shutout, with Syrio leading the way as the only multi-goal scorer on the team.
