After spending the past few seasons playing for the AfterShocks, McGee is now playing for the top-seeded Herd That (Marshall Alumni). McGee had five points and five rebounds in a 92-57 opening win over eighth-seed Jackson TN Boom. McGee followed that up with 11 points and the game-winning three-pointer in a 63-59 win over fourth-seed War Ready (Auburn Alumni) on Sunday.
With the Elam Ending set at 63 and his team clinging to a 60-59 lead, McGee buried the game-clinching three to advance Herd That to face second-seed La Familia (Kentucky Alumni) at 8 p.m. Tuesday on Fox Sports 1.
After helping Cowley to the NJCAA Division I national title game, Clark went on to enjoy three stellar seasons as a member of the Southwestern College basketball program and was joined on the Midwest Prestige by fellow Builder alumni Cooper Pierce and Andrew O'Brien. The trio helped the Midwest Prestige cut a 25-point deficit (60-35) to 13 (72-59) before losing 86-71.
The AfterShocks advance to face fifth-seed Team Colorado (Colorado Alumni) on Monday night at 8 on FS1. Team Colorado defeated fourth-seed Purple Reign (Kansas State Alumni) 71-67 on Saturday.
