On Thursday, college basketball coaches had an opportunity to stop by Independence Community College, Coffeyville Community College, Cowley College, and Butler Community College.
The coaches planned to visit Pratt Community College, Barton Community College, and Dodge City Community College on Friday, before wrapping up the tour on Saturday with visits to Northwest Kansas Technical College, Colby Community College, Garden City Community College, and Seward County.
Cowley College men's head basketball coach Donnie Jackson was glad to be able to showcase his program.
"The Jayhawk Conference is the best junior college league in the country," Jackson said. "The league has always done a great job of organizing the tour so that coaches can come in and evaluate the talent at each school. We are very appreciative of the coaches who brought their talents to Ark City to take a look at the Cowley Tigers. I think the guys did a great job of representing the college and men's basketball program."
