Cowley cheer team named Region VI champs/Tigerettes named first runner-up

The Cowley College cheer and dance teams competed in the Region VI Cheer and Dance Championship on Sunday, March 11 in Salina, KS. The Cowley cheer team was named Region VI champions in the Small Coed Cheer Division, and the Tigerette dance team was named first runner-up in the Team Performance Division.

Head coach of the teams is Lindsay Sanderholm. The assistant coach is Chelsi Turner.

Cheer team members are: Samantha Buettner, Connor Churchill, Kourtnee Engle, Jennifer Gradoleon, Dylan Hill, Josie King, Kyrstyn Kinzie, Hannah McNulty, Jacob Nichols, Kyla Reep, Daniel Resendiz, Trevor Soliz, Amanda Stout, Chase VanDegrift, Paige Walker, and Bailey Wells.

Tigerettes are: Halle Bucher, Jessie Gettings, Morgan Hettenbach, Lauren Journey, Hannah McNulty, Sidney Nittler, Addison Stuever, Kaylee Stoner, Isabella Wages, Taylor Woods, and Taylor Woodward.
