Groh finished 3-for-3 with four runs batted in, and Cowley out-hit Allen 13-2.
"Logan continues to grow as a player," Cowley head coach Darren Burroughs said. "It was good to see him have a day like that at the plate."
Freshman Kyler Zagar (6-1) continued his string of solid starts by tossing four scoreless innings to go along with five strikeouts and no walks. Fellow freshman Russ Smith struck out the side in the fifth to complete the 11-0 victory.
In game two, Cade Baldridge led off the Tigers' first inning with his seventh home run. Dawson Williams added his second home run and four Tigers had multi-hit games in the nightcap. Cowley was led by Drake Fittro, going 2-for-4 with a double and two runs batted in.
Ty Parker (3-1) started on the mound for Cowley and struck out three in three scoreless innings. Mark Hoffman, Cameron Mock, Chance Acord, Lucas Weaver, and Luke Schimmels combined for six scoreless innings of relief.
"We had several guys step up and pitch good," Burroughs said.
The Tigers have tossed three shutouts and allowed only eight runs during its six-game winning streak.
The teams will conclude their four-game series by playing a doubleheader at Allen on Saturday at 1.
"We need to take care of business and keep improving," Burroughs said.
