Busy week of volleyball camps concludes at Cowley College
Wrapping up a week of volleyball camps at Cowley College, the College ID Camp was held on Thursday inside W.S. Scott Auditorium.
Thursday's camp came on the heels of a Junior High/Middle School camp, a High School camp, a Defense/Passing/Serving camp, and a Setter/Hitter camp.
The College ID camp offered comprehensive instruction for athletes who wish to do more advanced training with a desire to compete at the collegiate level. The camp was structured to show campers what it takes to play at the collegiate volleyball level. The following areas were instructed: skills development, offensive and defensive team systems, specialized position instruction, and intra-squad play. The camp also included a Q&A session with current Cowley College volleyball coaches and players for parents and players to ask about Cowley, the college game, and recruiting.
Participants at the camp were Evelyn Jolly, Emery Nighswonger, Emersyn Preuett-Shea, Macy Karlin, Addy Pierson, Bailey Hill, Trinity Griffin, Sophia Comer, Mindy Tillitson, Tessa James, Kiarra Bradt, Caityn Asmann, Daynica Euwer, Kamdyn Keith, Sophia Hickman, Grace Hargrove, Ava Corbin, Addison Hansen, Kinzie Peterson, Berkley McKinley, Lauren Glasgow, and Abigail Packard.
